CALLS have been made for a crematorium to be built in Flintshire to save residents hundreds of pounds and reduce stress.Currently anyone in the county wishing to cremate a loved one has to travel across the border to Chester Crematorium in Blacon– and pay £164 more than a Cheshire West and Chester constituency resident.The only other alternatives are to travel to Pentrebychan in Wrexham or Colwyn Bay.He told the Chronicle Flintshire residents should have the right to be put to rest in the place where they were born and raised.He said: “They should not have to travel to neighbouring constituencies in order to be cremated. It is a difficult time for any family but a more local crematorium could help to ease some of the financial and emotional strains.”Mr Tami suggested a crematorium operated by Flintshire County Council on a site yet to be identified would allow them to set rates which could financially help residents during an emotional time.The base rate to cremate a Flintshire resident who is over 18 years old at Chester Crematorium is £584 – £164 more than a resident of Cheshire West and Chester constituency would pay.In Wrexham it costs £466 for all people over the age of 13 to be cremated and in Colwyn Bay it’s £530 for non-residents of Conwy County Borough Council.Sealand councillor Chris Jones knows first-hand how these extra costs can effect families.She said: “My mother-in-law died in June. She lived in Afonwen and was cremated in Chester. When you lose a loved one you are full of grief and the last thing you need is extra expense on top of everything else.“We desperately need a crematorium in Flintshire. Grave yards are filling up fast and if we had our own crematorium operated by the county we would not be penalised financially and have to travel outside of Flintshire.”Mr Tami has written to Flintshire County Council highlighting his concerns.A spokesman for Flintshire County Council said: “We have received Mr Tami’s letter and will be considering the issues he has raised.”Now Alyn and Deeside MP Mark Tami is demanding Flintshire has its own crematorium and is calling on the county council to run it.

In Erding wurde über eine entsprechende Anlage immer wieder diskutiert und für wünschenswert erachtet.Nun wird es konkret. Die Firma Fakultatieve aus Holland ist mit einem entsprechenden Gesuch ans Rathaus herangetreten. Das Unternehmen tritt als Antragsteller, Bauherr und Betreiber auf. Angesiedelt werden soll das Krematorium am Itzlinger Friedhof zwischen Altenerding und Therme.Aus dem Stadtbauamt erfuhr unsere Zeitung, dass die Pläne dort begrüßt werden. Von einer „guten städtebaulichen Lösung“ ist die Rede, „die sich perfekt in das Angebot dort integriert“. So wird es weiter einen zentralen Zugang geben. Wer zum Krematorium möchte, fährt am Betriebshof des Bestattungsunternehmers Denk vorbei und gelangt dann zu Fakultatieve.Eine Urnenstellwand gibt es bereits. Ein Sprecher des Bauamtes erklärte, es sei problemlos möglich, weitere Urnenstellwände beziehungsweise Urnenhöfe zu platzieren. Auch ein Urnen-Gräberfeld liege in der Nähe.Die Anlieger müssen keinerlei Beeinträchtigungen befürchten, für den Betrieb gelten in jeder Hinsicht strengste Auflagen. Im Rathaus ist man über die sich nun abzeichnende Lösung auch deshalb froh, „weil die Ansiedelung eines Krematoriums gar nicht so einfach ist, immerhin ist in Bayern Bau und Betrieb solcher Anlagen innerhalb von Gewerbegebieten verboten“, so der Bauamtssprecher weiter. Wohngebiete seien zwangsläufig tabu. Der Itzlinger Friedhof bietet sich wegen seiner stadtnahen und dennoch isolierten Lage an. Eine Zustimmung im Planungs- und Umweltausschuss am Dienstag gilt als sicher. Der Bau könnte dann bereits 2012 realisiert werden.In Erding würde eine Lücke geschlossen. Denn immer mehr Menschen entscheiden sich dazu, ihre Leichen verbrennen zu lassen. Hinzu kommt: Urnengräber sind für die Erben deutlich günstiger als Erdgräber.

Como ya adelantó ayer este diario, el citado estudio descarta que pueda existir «una correlación» entre este negocio funerario y un aumento de los valores de partículas contaminantes presentes en el aire.Las asociaciones civiles y ecologistas que se oponen al incinerador alertaron de que la campaña desarrollada por el Ejecutivo autonómico no tiene en cuenta una serie de compuestos «muy perjudiciales para la salud de las personas». En concreto, «no analiza las emisiones de los componentes que están más presentes en las peligrosas dioxinas, como el cloro», apuntó un portavoz.«También se ha pasado por encima de otros contaminantes como los metales pesados, el mercurio o las partículas de dos y medio micras de diámetro». Los vecinos critican, además, la metodología. A su juicio, la unidad móvil que recogió los testigos no se ubicó en la posición que marca la ley, «a favor de los vientos dominantes». Lo que sí celebraron fue el inicio de las pesquisas por parte de la Fiscalía. «Nos satisface que haya empezado a trabajar», valoraron.

Danach wird die aus Betonfertigteilen bestehende Rampenkonstruktion aufgebaut. Die Rohbauarbeiten sollen nach Angaben der Stadt noch in diesem Jahr abgeschlossen werden. Damit sei die Verwendung der Fördermittel sichergestellt. Für Besucher wird es wegen der Baustelle Einschränkungen durch Absperrungen geben.

Al piano terra verrà valorizzata l'ex camera ardente, un grande locale coperto a volta che sarà destinato a ufficio di informazione e gestione cimiteriale, mentre la restante superficie ospiterà i due forni crematori con il relativo ufficio. Ai piani superiori, accessibili anche con un ascensore-montacarichi, saranno invece ospitati il deposito salme, la sezione di trattamento dei fumi e i locali a uso spogliatoi sia per la cremazione che per i servizi cimiteriali.
THE council has apologised to a grieving widow and her daughter for the distress caused by the felling of a tree around which her late husband's ashes are scattered.Mandy Macfarlane went to lay flowers at the tree in the gardens of Grimsby Crematorium on the third anniversary of her husband Andy's death.But when she got there she was distraught to find an empty space where the tree once stood.North East Lincolnshire Council has announced that a replacement tree will be planted this autumn, but Mandy is upset that no one from the authority told her the tree – which had a significant amount of dead wood – was going to be removed.Mandy, 44, of Cross Coates Road, Grimsby, said: "The crematorium stopped us putting ornaments around his plaque but we never dreamt that the tree would go."I went to put some flowers down and there was nothing there, just an empty space."I was shocked and disgusted. No words can describe how I felt."As reported, Andy, 43, a cleaner at Binns in Freshney Place, died from Legionnaires Disease in September 2008, just days after returning from a family holiday in Turkey.His ashes were scattered around a tree in the crematorium gardens – the same site where his father Charles' ashes were scattered three months previously.The tree is regularly visited by Mandy and her three daughters Zoey, Sarah and Claire.Mandy said: "There are two family members under there and yet no one has got a letter saying they have removed the tree."Zoey, 22, said: "I was disgusted. My dad and my granddad are under there. There's a bench next to the tree and we like to sit there knowing that dad was under there."They could have at least put something in the paper so it wasn't such a shock when we went down there."Councillor Alex Wallace, portfolio holder for environment and strategic housing, said: "Following a tree management survey undertaken last year, a number of dead or diseased trees have been removed. This particular tree had a significant amount of dead wood and was felled in May this year."It is always disappointing when we have to fell trees but, as we explained to the family, a replacement tree will be planted this autumn. Due to the dry weather we have not been able to complete this earlier."We apologise to the family for any distress caused and we will look in to way in which we can inform families in the future when trees have to be felled."
La empresa solicita que un técnico municipal esté presente en el proceso para notificar el cumplimiento del último fallo judicial.Servicios Funerarios de Miranda SL iniciará en breve el desmantelamiento del horno que se ubica en el tanatorio de El Crucero, apagado desde que el Ayuntamiento decretó el final de la actividad, por mandato judicial, en mayo del pasado año. Las instalaciones actuales del crematorio fueron 'condenadas' definitivamente con un auto que se dio a conocer hace cuatro meses. El mismo precisaba que no era suficiente la clausura; había que desmontar. El pasado viernes, según confirmó ayer el alcalde Fernando Campo, el Ayuntamiento y la empresa recibieron la notificación formal de aquel fallo.La funeraria ha decidido cumplir de forma inmediata con él. Esta decisión, en principio, no afectaría al proceso paralelo que se sigue desde que la parcela de 9.122 metros cuadrados, situada en el número 63 de la carretera de Orón, ha sido recalificada como Suelo Urbano Consolidado. Esta nueva condición -solicitada por la propia empresa-, posibilitaría, de nuevo, la puesta en marcha del servicio. Pero hay que ir paso a paso.Y el primero, obligado por la sala de lo Contencioso Administrativo Número 1 del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Castilla y León, era claro: «Se ordena el desmantelamiento y traslado fuera de las dependencias del tanatorio, del horno incinerador debiendo informar al juzgado por el órgano encargado del cumplimiento de las actuaciones llevadas a cabo para tal desmantelamiento a la mayor brevedad posible, una vez notificada a las partes la presente resolución y todo ello con expresa imposición de costas procesales de la presente instancia a la parte apelante». Así de precisa era la resolución adoptada el pasado 29 de abril.La funeraria dio entrada por registro en el Ayuntamiento, el pasado martes, de un escrito en el que comunica el inicio del proceso de desmontaje. Servicios Funerarios de Miranda SL confirmó que, efectivamente, «vamos a desmantelar». Aunque fue el responsable municipal el que, haciéndose eco del contenido del documento, aseveró que se plantea la intención de «hacerlo a la mayor brevedad, posiblemente la próxima semana». En la notificación, se solicita al Ayuntamiento la presencia de un técnico para que «dé traslado al órgano competente» de que las instalaciones se están desmontando. El horno sería trasladado a una nave industrial. «Se llevará a un almacén en el polígono de Bayas». El alcalde incidió en que la decisión de desmantelar ha sido adoptada por la funeraria «para ejecutar la sentencia». Y, al mismo tiempo, dejó entrever que el proceso de reapertura sigue su curso dentro de los plazos legales: «Están en ello. Ya tendrían preparada toda la documentación».El último fallo judicial -emitido con carácter aclaratorio- exonera de cualquier derribo y sólo obliga a que la estructura mecánica sea extraída y trasladada a otro entorno. Esto significa que los trabajos de desinstalación no tendrían gran complejidad. Según explicó en su momento el propio Campo, la instalación que alberga el crematorio cuenta con un zócalo desde el que es posible su extracción. «Se dejó una puerta de acceso por si había que sacar el horno para repararlo», aseveró.
Campaigners opposed to a new cemetery and crematorium in Warwickshire have started a petition against the plans.Opponents of the proposed cemetery south of Ashlawn Road in Rugby say it would spoil the view. There are also concerns over traffic issues.Rugby Borough Council has submitted a joint application with nearby Daventry District Council in Northamptonshire.The borough council said it needed the site as it was running out of burial space.The facility would include two multi-faith ceremony rooms and have initial parking provision for 100 cars, it said.'Fit sensitively'Richard Smith, from a residents' action group, said: "Once a development does go ahead here, it's the thin end of the wedge for development in the remainder of the valley."It's not just local residents who have signed [a petition], it's people from all over Rugby who are concerned about the future."Rugby council said the crematorium would "fit sensitively into the landscape", adding that it wanted to "enhance the countryside in the area".The council said changes to the plans had been made following a public consultation, including increasing the number of parking places and improving a proposed junction.Daventry council said as there are no crematoria in its area or Rugby borough, the plans offered the chance to create a local facility.

September, mit zahlreichen Veranstaltungen auf dem Geraer Ostfriedhof statt. Organisiert wird der Aktionstag vom Eigenbetrieb Geraer Stadtgrün, Forsten und Friedhöfe gemeinsam mit vielen Akteuren wie Bestattungsinstituten, Steinmetzen, Gärtnern und Floristen, Vereinen und Kirchen, der Seelsorge des SRH Wald-Klinikums Gera, der Staatlichen Berufsbildenden Schule Gewerbliche Berufe und der Integrierten Gesamtschule. „Ihnen allen ein großes Dankeschön für die Vorbereitung und Organisation des Tages des Friedhofs“, so Baudezernent Ramon Miller. „Wir haben gemeinsam ein sehr interessantes und vielseitiges Programm mit unterschiedlichen Führungen, Vorträgen oder einer Mittagsandacht auf die Beine gestellt. Unser Ziel ist es, bei den Bürgerinnen und Bürger im Rahmen eines Dialoges rund um das Thema Friedhof und Bestattungen das Interesse für die Friedhöfe der Stadt als eine erhaltenswerte Institution zu fördern. Dabei sollen auch Vorurteile rund um das Thema Sterben und Bestattung ausgeräumt werden.“Eröffnet wird der 2. Friedhofstag 10 Uhr durch die Leiterin des Eigenbetriebes Geraer Stadtgrün, Forsten und Friedhöfe Andrea Fischer am Haupteingang des Ostfriedhofes. Von 10.30 Uhr bis 12 Uhr und 14.30 Uhr bis 16 Uhr kann unter dem Motto „Krema-Entdeckung“ am historischen Krematorium u.a. eine ungewöhnliche Fotoausstellung besichtigt werden. Es gibt einen Rundgang durch das neue Krematorium und einen Vortrag in der Feierhalle. Frank Fleischmann, Fotograf aus Südthüringen, stellt in zwei Vorträgen, 11 Uhr, und 15 Uhr, und in einer kleinen Galerie das historische Geraer Krematorium und weitere Krematorien aus der Jugendstilzeit vor. Fleischmann fängt seit Jahren den Zustand des Stillstandes dieser oft architektonisch meisterlichen Bauwerke ein. Ein kleiner Teil seiner Arbeiten wurde bereits in einem Bildband der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Friedhof und Denkmal e.V. veröffentlicht und in die Deutsche Nationalbibliografie aufgenommen. Erstmalig zeigt er am Beispiel von Gera einzigartige Aufnahmen. Mit dem Vortrag unter dem Thema „Auf den Spuren erloschener Feuertempel“ können Besucher erstmals einen bildhaften Einblick in das einzigartige „Kremato-Kolumbarium“ von Adolph Marsch erhalten. Marsch erbaute das Geraer Krematorium und war von 1900 bis 1912 Stadtbaumeister in Gera. Das Gebäude vereint das Krematorium mit einem Bestattungsort in Form von Urnennischen. Die Fotoausstellung ist übrigens durchgängig von 10 bis 16 Uhr geöffnet.Von 10.30 Uhr bis 12 Uhr können Interessierte mit einem Shuttle-Bus der Geraer Verkehrsbetrieb GmbH vom Haupteingang des Ostfriedhofes zum Südfriedhof fahren. Dort stellt der Verein Gästeführer Region Gera e.V. unter dem Motto „Entdecken Sie den Südfriedhof - Ruhestätten von Persönlichkeiten“ vor. Die Abfahrtszeiten vom Haupteingang Ostfriedhof sind 10.30 Uhr und 14.30 Uhr sowie vom Südfriedhof, ehemalige Berufsschule Wirtschaft und Verwaltung, Ecke Wiesestraße/Zufahrt Netto, zum Ostfriedhof zurück 11.45 Uhr und 17 Uhr. Von 12 bis 13.30 Uhr ist in der Feierhalle des Ostfriedhofs eine kleine Mittagsandacht der evangelischen Kirche mit Pfarrer Sebastian Kircheis geplant. Die musikalische Umrahmung übernimmt der Chor des Handwerks – Männerchor der Stadt Gera e.V. Individuelle Grabmale können die Besucher von 13.30 Uhr bis 14 Uhr bei einer Führung auf dem Ostfriedhof mit dem Steinmetz Lars Müller entdecken. Auch für Kinder und Jugendliche gibt es an diesem Tag spannende Angebote. Ab 14 Uhr werden die Kübel am Haupteingang des Ostfriedhofes unter Anleitung bepflanzt. „Malen mal anders“ heißt es ab 10 Uhr. Kinder, Jugendliche und auch Erwachsene können unter Anleitung einen Holzsarg bemalen.Ausstellungen an diesem Tag zeigen verschiedene Facetten der individuellen Grabgestaltung und geben Anregungen für die eigene Umsetzung. Dabei stehen Aussteller wie Floristen, Steinmetze oder Bestatter den Besuchern mit fachmännischem Rat zur Seite. Vereine, Verbände und Kirchen stellen verschiedene Hilfsangebote im Trauerfall vor. La cité ruthénoise a voté, cet été, son accord de principe pour créer un crématorium. Alors que l'enquête publique doit débuter dans les prochaines semaines, les dents grincent du c'té de la ville de Sévérac, conduisant déjà son propre projet.L'idée n'est pas nouvelle. Lors de la création du crématorium de Capdenac, en 2004, des élus ruthénois avaient déjà évoqué un projet similaire au sein de la préfecture du département. Régine Taussat, candidate à la municipalité ruthénoise en 2007, avait également soutenu ce mode d'inhumation. L'équipe de Christian Teyssèdre s'aventure aujourd'hui, là où la municipalité de Marc Censi avait laissé couler à l'époque.« Le projet d'un crématorium ne faisait pas partie de nos objectifs de campagne », reconnaît Maurice Barthélémy, l'élu en charge des populations et membre du groupe de travail qui conduit le dossier. Cette idée n'est d'ailleurs pas venue de la municipalité mais d'une entreprise funéraire locale (dont la mairie ne souhaite pas divulguer le nom) qui lui a suggéré, après avoir fait son étude de marché. « Elle a évalué le bassin concerné entre 140 et 200 000 habitants », précise Serges Bories, conseiller municipal membre du groupe de travail.Après réflexion, les élus trouvent le projet logique : outre la présence de l'h'pital et de plusieurs maisons de retraite, Rodez étant la préfecture, c'est auprès de ses services que les décès sont déclarés. Un columbarium et un jardin du souvenir sont même déjà installés. À ce jour, pourtant, les familles doivent se déplacer jusqu'à Capdenac ou Albi lorsque le défunt a choisi la crémation. « Le transport c'est déjà 400 €, commente Serges Bories, citant un 1er frein à ce mode de fin de vie. Et en général il n'y a que la famille présente car qui peut prendre une demi-journée de repos pour des obsèques ? »Si la crémation ne représente, selon les chiffres de la municipalité, qu'environ 10 % des inhumations à Rodez « contre 50 % dans d'autres villes », c'est en effet en partie dû à un défaut de structures locales. Car si le département, ancré dans le catholicisme et la ruralité, a d'avantage tendance à choisir la voie traditionnelle de l'enterrement, les statistiques démontrent que la crémation prend de l'ampleur chaque année. Moins onéreux - « 700 € contre 3 000 pour un enterrement », selon Serges Bories - ce mode d'inhumation séduit en permettant d'éviter, par exemple, les problèmes liés au devenir du corps au terme de la concession perpétuelle (50 ans).Seul ombre au tableau dans le choix de Rodez : la ville de Sévérac-le-Château avait déjà fait ce calcul. Alors que la ville s'apprête à lancer son appel d'offres pour trouver un concessionnaire (dernière phase avant la construction dans la zone Marpeliez), le maire, Camille Galibert, se montre assez pessimiste sur cette nouvelle concurrence. « Il n'y a pas la place pour X crématoriums en Aveyron, confie l'élu. Dans 20 ou 30 ans, les chiffres de crémation permettront sans doute la viabilité de plusieurs crématoriums mais avec les chiffres actuels ce n'est pas possible. »Les deux projets ayant opté pour déléguer ce service aux professionnels du secteur, ce seront aux entreprises funéraires - lors des appels d'offres - de parier, ou non, sur la viabilité de deux crématoriums distants d'une cinquantaine de kilomètres.
